Privacy policy

This policy explains what EP Estimates handles when you search public El Paso property records, sign in with Google, save property addresses, and visit pages measured by Vercel Web Analytics. The current app does not use contact forms, payment forms, or Google Maps autocomplete.

Information you provide

When you search, you enter a street address and ZIP code. That address appears in the report page URL so the app can look up the matching public appraisal record.

If you sign in with Google, EP Estimates receives basic account information from Supabase Auth, such as your user ID and email address. If you save an address, EP Estimates stores the property ID, street address, city, state, ZIP code, and saved date with your account. If you opt in to optional emails, EP Estimates stores your email address, the email category, whether the category is enabled, and related consent timestamps.

Do not enter Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal information into the address search.

Public property records

EP Estimates displays public appraisal records from the El Paso Central Appraisal District. Those records may include property addresses, owner names, mailing addresses, legal descriptions, values, exemptions, tax jurisdictions, and valuation history.

Technical information

Hosting providers, browsers, Vercel Web Analytics, Supabase, Google sign-in services, and network services may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, requested URL, authentication cookies, and timestamps. Address searches can appear in browser history and hosting logs because the address is part of the report URL. EP Estimates strips query strings from report, sign-in, and auth page-view analytics before events are sent.

How information is used

EP Estimates uses search input and public records to return property reports, operate saved-address profiles, save optional email preferences, troubleshoot errors, protect the service, and understand whether the product works as intended. If you opt in, EP Estimates may use your email preference to send the selected category of email, such as a newsletter.

How information is shared

EP Estimates may share information with service providers that host, secure, measure, authenticate, or operate the site, including Vercel Web Analytics, Supabase, and Google for sign-in. It may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate misuse of the service.

EP Estimates does not sell personal information in the current product flow.

Data retention

Saved addresses remain in the app database until you remove them, your account is deleted, or EP Estimates deletes them as part of operating the service. Email preference rows remain until your account is deleted, EP Estimates deletes them as part of operating the service, or a later unsubscribe/preference workflow replaces them. Hosting logs, browser history, caches, authentication providers, and public-record source systems may retain related information under their own schedules.

Your choices

You can choose not to enter an address or not to sign in. The newsletter option is selected by default on the sign-in page, and you can clear it before continuing if you do not want newsletter emails. Signed-in users can remove saved addresses and update email preferences from the profile page. You can also clear browser history or cached pages on your device. If public EPCAD records are incorrect, contact EPCAD or the relevant public agency because EP Estimates does not control official records.

Children

EP Estimates is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

EP Estimates uses reasonable safeguards for the current product, including Supabase row-level security for saved addresses and email preference reads, but no website or network can guarantee perfect security. Avoid entering information that is not needed for a property lookup.

Changes to this policy

EP Estimates may update this policy when the product changes. If the app adds payments, contact forms, or new data uses, this policy should be updated to describe those changes.
